Cabrera Technologies Inc., a startup based in Ontario, Canada, is revolutionizing on-demand services for both customers and enterprises. Its SaaS product is designed to address challenges in on-demand service delivery and employment within the service industry, offering innovative solutions to streamline operations and improve outcomes.
Business Opportunity
In today’s evolving and competitive environment, finding the right skilled individual for a service or searching the right candidate for a job is a significant pain area. Many on demand services and job portals have emerged to solve the need, but people and Companies are experiencing new challenges like saving time, achieve cost efficiency, and to short-list qualified workers/candidates in limited time. In the market do have features such as instant interview process, which is much faster and convenient than the traditional method however, there is no innovative, forward-thinking platform integrated with the latest technology.
My Contribution
Role: Lead Designer and was later promoted to UX Manager within the startup, reflecting my deep involvement and contributions to the product's success.
My role extended beyond design, engaging closely with stakeholders, marketing teams, and venture capital funding efforts.
I played a pivotal role in the entire process, including product discovery, ideation, and strategizing for branching and extending the product to meet evolving business needs.
Market Study
Various staffing solutions from Canada and India were contacted to know the day to day activities and expectations. Many people were interviewed who would require on-demand services to know their pain points as there were many influencing parameters including the pay, hours, project, contract, labor, location and geography.
